Ashwood is a small Monash suburb of 1950s weatherboards and brick veneers on big blocks between High Street Road and Warrigal Road, with Ashwood High, Essex Heights reserve and a lot of knockdown-rebuilds in progress. It is Boroondara-adjacent at a Monash price.
